Town of Arena – Regular Meeting

July 11, 2005

PRESENT: Bob Murphy, Dave Lucey, Bill Gauger, Laurie Ziebarth, Minnie Gauger, Dick Lockman, Dave Meudt, Lois Artz

The meeting was called to order. Roll call was taken, all board members were present. Lucey moved to approve the minutes of the June 13, 2005, Gauger seconded, motion passed. Lucey moved to approve the bills presented, Gauger seconded, motion carried. The status of the budget and what road work to split up between each contractor was discussed.

Lois Artz presented options for dividing a 5 acre parcel of land from the farm property along Hwy 14 and Ray Hollow Road. Lucey moved to approve a land division and B1 zoning on a 5.2 acre l-shaped parcel containing the gift shop and farm buildings, contingent upon receiving a certified survey of the property, Gauger seconded, motion passed.

Mail was read. It was recommended the towns association be contacted about the best course of action to take for junk vehicles on property and how to proceed with the various fence problems in the township. A public meeting has been held regarding replacing the bridge on CTH K in 2007.

Gauger moved to adjourn, Lucey seconded, motion passed.
