The
meeting was called to order. Lucey moved
to approve the minutes of the March 13, 2006 meeting, Gauger seconded, motion
passed. Gauger moved to pay the bills
presented, Lucey seconded, motion carried.
Lucey
moved to accept a $113,975 bid for a new truck chassis
from Peterbilt, Gauger seconded, motion passed.
Delivery is expected in September.
Gauger moved to borrow the money for the truck from Peoples Community
Bank at 4% interest, Lucey seconded, motion carried. Road work bids were opened. Sealcoating bids - BR Amon & Sons $9416.82
single seal, $18801.30 double seal; Scott Construction $9275 single seal,
$18550 double seal. Gravel bids -
Bindl-Bauer Limestone $6.70/yd gravel, $6.60/yd breaker run, $9.00/yd chips; Watson
$6.35/yd, $6.35/yd breaker run.
Lucey
moved to approve a fireworks sales permit for Ellen
Hohenstein on Curt Greenheck's (CJs) property from June 1-July 15, 2006, Gauger
seconded, motion passed. Lucey moved to
approve a building permit for Mark Berres, Gauger seconded, motion
carried. Gauger moved to approve a
building and driveway permit for John & Anne Forseth, Lucey seconded,
motion passed. Gauger moved to approve a
building and driveway permit for Marko Baxter, Lucey seconded, motion carried. Gauger moved to approve a rezoning request
for Roger Creasey from A1 to AR1, Lucey seconded, motion passed. Murphy read an e-mail from Scott Godfrey
stating the rezoning requests of Vern Halverson and Sue Mellum needed to be
reviewed to determine how the 1 per 30 density will be
enforced. No action was taken on the
Nate Parrell and Bill Buckeridge rezoning requests and conditional uses due to
surveys needed.
Gauger
moved the following township residents to the Plan Commission effective May 1,
2006, Cheryl Schmidt, Mark Hottmann - 1 year appointments, John Wright, Wayne
Schutte - 2 year appointments, Rod Anding, Terry Denruiter - 3 year appointments,
Lucey seconded, motion passed. Lucey
moved to approve the Town of

was read. A letter will be sent to the DNR
requesting aid to replace the
