ARENA PLAN COMMISSION

October 2, 2006

PRESENT: Rod Anding, John Wright, Terry Denruiter, Mark Hottmann, Bob Murphy, Bill Gauger

OTHERS: Laurie Ziebarth, John Halverson, Kevin Gunderson, Sharon Wahl, Bob Gapko

The meeting was called to order. Anding moved to approve the minutes of the September 5, 2006 meeting, Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

1. Kevin Gunderson and Sharon Wahl would like to construct a recreational cabin on 73.5 acres off Helena Road. It was noted that the recreational cabin, without the porch, must not exceed 600 sq ft or have internal plumbing. The cabin will be in the woods. Anding moved to approve a recreational cabin permit for Gunderson/Wahl, Hottmann seconded, motion passed.

2. Bob Gapko owns 20 acres on top of Amacher Hollow Road. The current road to the top has not been maintained, but has a maintenance agreement. The slope would probably meet 11-12%. Gapko is planning to sell his 20 acres and wanted to know what would be required for driveway standards. Research will be done to determine if a driveway permit was issued in 1981.

The next meeting will be held Monday, November 6, 2006 at 7:00pm at the Town Hall. Hottmann moved to adjourn, Anding seconded, motion passed.
