The meeting
was called to order. Mark Hottman moved
to approve the minutes of the April 2, 2007 meeting, Anding seconded, motion
passed.

John Halverson representing Rich Schoenberg. Rich wants to create an additional
40 acre parcel and a 15 acre parcel off of
Steve Deal
has a county permit for a new driveway at 5701 HH. Anding moved to approve the
driveway permit contingent on a Planning Commission inspection. Hottmann
seconded, motion passed. The committee will look at the proposed driveway on Tuesday,
April 8 at 5:15pm. Deal paid $500 for the driveway permit.
Gauger
Properties/Gauger LLC wants to dig a 3 acre pond to sell fill sand to Kreamer
Brothers. Gauger needs a conditional use policy that he can store sand on his
property, zoned M1, for up to 3 years. If any sand is left on the property
after 3 years it will have to be spread on the Gauger property. The pond will
range from 5 to 18 feet deep. Kraemer Company will have access through the salvage
yard. Schutte motioned to grant the conditional use permit with a sunset date
of 36 months from the start date of excavation. Anding seconded, motion
carried.
Steve
Pappas, Pappas Trading Post, wants to remove the two existing signs and hang one
new 16 foot wide sign. The new sign would be 4 feet higher than the existing
sign is now. He will have to apply for a variance through the county. Anding
motioned to approve the new 16 foot wide sign contingent upon approval from the
county. Hottmann seconded, motion passed.

motioned to have John Wright as the Planning Commission Chair for the 2007-2008
year for the Town of

motion passed.
