Town of
July 9, 2007
PRESENT: Bill Gauger, Dave Lucey, Terry Denruiter,
KayDee Maxwell, Minnie Gauger, Louis Carpenter, Dick Lockman, David Meudt, Wayne
Schutte, Mary Lockman, Bob Murphy, Traci Halverson
The meeting was called to
order. Gauger moved to approve the
minutes of the June 11 meeting, Denruiter seconded, motion passed. Gauger moved to pay the bills presented through
7/09/2007, Denruiter seconded, motion carried.
Wayne Schutte requested an
updated conditional use permit to double the number of horses on his property
from 11 to 22 animals. Uselman will take any amount of manure waste that
Schutte has. Denruiter has motioned to approve the conditional use permit for
Schutte to expand to 22 horses. Gauger seconded, motion passed.
Traci Halverson wants to
incorporate additional speed limit and children at play signs along the road
for the Bit-o-Green trailer park. Gauger suggested adding two 15 mile an hour
speed limit signs and two children at play signs. The patrolmen will look at
the area and suggest the best place to incorporate the new signs. Lucey will
check with the county on placing permanent speed limit signs on the road.
Traci Halverson also wants
to replace the existing 4X8 Bit-o-Green sign with a new sign of the same size.
She also was wondering about reflectors for better visibility to the entrance
of the park. Gauger motioned to allow Halverson to replace the existing sign
and add one additional sign at the entrance pending that the county and state
have no restrictions. Denruiter seconded, motion carried.
Dave Lucey talked with Phil
Roberts and he is 90% sure that there will be a bypass on Country Road H when the
new bridge is constructed.
The board discussed current
issues with the town patrolmen.
Gauger motioned to approve
the building permit for June & Kevin Ziebarth on
Gauger motioned to adjourn.
Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
