The meeting
was called to order. Denruiter moved to
approve the minutes of the September 10 meeting. Gauger seconded, motion
passed. Gauger moved to approve the
minutes of the special meeting on October 1. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
Denruiter moved to pay the bills presented. Gauger seconded, motion carried.
Evy
Halverson - representing a potential buyer for a commercial lot on Hwy 14 currently
zoned B1. The buyer is proposing a lumber refinishing business on the property.
Conditions: the waste water will be recycled, the storage area will be fenced
in, the hours of operation will not be past 7:00pm during the work week and not
late on weekends, and there are not any hazardous materials. Lucey wants to see the sawmill
completely enclosed for noise reasons. The board would like to see a three
sided shed at minimum and that it opens towards the storage area versus the
residents. Denruiter motioned to rezone the parcel to B3, approve a three sided
storage shed for the saw mill usage and the rest of Altruwood
Company's proposal. They want to see something from the DNR on water usage. Gauger
seconded, motion passed. Denruiter motioned to approve a driveway permit for
the property. Gauger seconded, motioned passed. A $300 rezone and conditional use fee along with a $500
driveway fee is owed.
Vern Maier
- requests a driveway permit. He has a
legal easement. Gauger motioned to approve the driveway permit. Denruiter
seconded, motion passed. Vern has an orange snow fence on his property and Dan
Adler & Sue want it removed. The town board cannot make him take it down.
The $500 driveway fee was paid.
Joe Long
does have another 30 acre building site after a town board discussion. Lucey will contact Joe Long and let him know.
The WisDOT is conducting a corridor study on the use of Hwy 14
through Knight Engineers and Associates. Terry Denruiter will represent the
Town of
DNR is
proposing a state purchase of 86.79 acres of land for the Lower Wisconsin State
Riverway in the Town of
The board
discussed the letter that will go to residents to pay for the fire signs. The
bill will be mailed with the taxes.
The town
discussed the fire agreement. Gauger motioned to approve the fire agreement
between the township and the village dated September 11, 2007. Denruiter seconded,
motion passed.

motioned to adjourn. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
