February 5, 2008
PRESENT: Bill Gauger, Dave Lucey,
KayDee Maxwell,
- The meeting was called to
order. Gauger moved to approve the
minutes of the January 14, 2008 meeting. Denruiter seconded, motion
passed. Gauger moved to pay the bills
presented. Denruiter seconded, motion carried.
- The board discussed the
posting areas of the agendas. The statues say that they should be posted in the
township. However, they feel that the three most convenient places for the
residents are the places they are currently posted; the bank, post office and
town hall.
- The board discussed the
ordinance for the Bit-O-Green Community. Gauger motioned to table the
discussion of the ordinance till later. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
- The board discussed the
sand and salt prices and where we are going to get more with the patrolmen.
- Gauger motioned to approve
a building permit for
- Denruiter motioned to
approve a building and driveway permit on
- Denruiter motioned to
approve the rezone of 5.17 acres at 7419 Timberline Trail from A1 to AR-1 for
Bill Gauger. Lucey seconded, motion passed. Gauger
abstained from voting.
- The board discussed the
Bit-O-Green Community ordinance.
- David Lucey
filed a complaint for the Township about Betty Peterson's horses because they
have been on the road and are a safety concern.
- The township received a
response from our attorney about Steve Sawle's
property taxes.
- Gauger motioned to adjourn. Denruiter
seconded, motion passed.
