Town of Arena – Regular Meeting -unofficial minutes

March 10, 2008

PRESENT: Bill Gauger, Dave Lucey, KayDee Maxwell, Minnie Gauger, Dick Lockman, Mary Lockman, David Meudt, Terry Denruiter, Ingmar Nelson

- The meeting was called to order. Gauger moved to approve the minutes of the February 5, 2008 meeting. Denruiter seconded, motion passed. Gauger moved to pay the bills presented. Denruiter seconded, motion carried.

The Town Board finalized the Mobil Home License, Campground License and Temporary or Seasonal Residence Permit Ordinance for the Town of Arena. Denruiter motioned to approve the ordinance with the additions the Town Board made. Gauger seconded, motion passed.

The board discussed the roads and maintenance for the month with the patrolmen.

Robert Murphy discussed the meeting with Steve Sawle and the County. Sawle is going to have to stick with selling a minimum of 640 acres to keep it as a PUD. He has to keep the conditional uses the same on all 22 lots.

The Board Discussed the clean sweep day for 2008. Hot Water Heaters will be added to the list for a $15.00 fee.

The Date for the Annual Meeting will be April 21, 2008.

Gauger motioned to not pay the Daviis Laboratory bill for water testing until we find more information out about the bill. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

The Town is going to look into getting a tax rebate for the On Road Fuel Tax that we use in the trucks and grader.

Gauger motioned to adjourn. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
