ARENA PLAN COMMISSION - unofficial minutes

June 2, 2008

The meeting was called to order. Roll call was taken. Plan Commission members present are John Wright, Wayne Schutte, Cheryl Schmidt, Bob Murphy, Mark Hottmann. Others present are Ingmar Nelson, Chris Cervantes, Jackie Owens, KayDee Maxwell, Dave Lucey, Terry Denruiter, Bill Gauger

Schmidt motioned to approve the minutes from May 5, 2008 meeting. Wayne seconded, motion passed.

Chris Cervantes requests a building and driveway permit on 7504 Helena Road. 39.96 acre parcel. The driveway and house will be located along the wood-line. Schutte motioned to approve the driveway permit, building permit and rezoning, if needed, for Chris Cervantes. Schmidt seconded, motion carried. The $1500 fee was paid.

Jackie Owens requests a conditional use permit to have one horse on a 2.25 acre parcel. Address is 11086 Hwy 14, Mazomanie. Her mother owns the surrounding land. Hottmann motioned to accept a conditional use permit for one horse on the parcel with a right to review or revoke the conditional use if there is a manure problem. Schutte seconded, motion passed. The $250 fee was paid.

Jim Landre - 20 acres on Blue Ridge Road. Wants to build a shed to store machinery. Needs a rezone from A1 to AR1. The shed will have no indoor plumbing. Hottmann motioned to rezone the 20 acres from A1 to AR1 to put up a shed with no indoor plumbing in the building. Murphy seconded, motion passed. He owes the $250.00 fee.

Peterson Valley Spring Farm letter to the Town - according to our plan you would need 60 acres if you want the land to be zoned AG for two home sites. Or, if you want the land to be zoned AG you need 40 acres for one building site and 5 acres for the second building site. The $1000 fee is non-refundable that you have previously paid. They need to attend the July 7 meeting to discuss this.

Murphy moved to adjourn. Hottmann seconded, motion passed.
