- The meeting was called to order.  Denruiter motioned that the meeting notice was posted in the proper public places. Denruiter seconded, motion passed. Gauger moved to approve the minutes of the May 12, 2008 meeting. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- Louann White, problem with school bus and other cars speeding in the Bit-O-Green Mobile Home Park. The signs are not visible and there are only two signs posted. Wants most signs posted for the safety of the children and others. Hayward Crossing is 25mph now. The bushes on Joles Rd. need to be trimmed so the sign can be visible. The patrolmen will trim them. The Township will put another sign on Meisie Road too with flags. Louann White would like something put up on the dead end road to stop people from entering. Tracy Halverson said that is a driveway for the mobile home park residents. The township won't do anything with this now. Louann White also asked about painting 15mph on the road. The township will clean the bushes up around the signs and add one more with flags for now.

- Gauger motioned to approve the operators licenses for Abby Schultze,Patti Kinnard, Christine Hanson, Leisa Lessard, Diane Holzum, Jayne Wonn. Denruiter seconded, motion passed. Chelsi Amble's application was denied until we get the proof of schooling. Gauger motioned to approve the operator's licenses for Nancy J Askevold, Michelle Hutchinson, Denise Layton, Stephen Sawle, Stephen Pappas, Nancy Askevold, Brenner Rasmussen, and Steven Layton (upon receiving notice of completion of his bartender's schooling). Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- The board would like the patrolmen to get started mowing the roadsides. Salt will be $54/ton delivered. We ordered 200 ton. The patrolmen put a load of breaker in Carl Nelson's driveway because it washed out. The town will charge him for time and material, $80.00. Dave Lucey read a letter from Jan Swenson commending the patrolmen on the great job they do.

- Steve Sawle, Falmouth Farms and Stables - Dave Lucey talked with Iowa County and they said the conditional uses and PUD has to be approved by the Town before it goes to Iowa County for approval. Sawle does not think that there are any new conditional uses for the property. The Town does believe so. When the subdivision was first approved the conditional uses were the PUD.  After about 8 months the County asked for more specific uses of the equestrian facility. Sawle saw this list as 'typical' uses. The Towns issue is that Sawle had an entire piece of property, split it in half, and wants the same conditional uses on each piece. Dave Lucey suggested leaving the conditional uses the same on the one parcel, lots 1 - 22, and ask for new ones on the equestrian facility parcel.  Gauger doesn't agree with the farmhouse being a duplex on the property. That is the only conditional use he has a problem with. Sawle would have to notify the county and township if over 500 people were on the property for an event. Gauger motioned to approve the land division, new lot 23, of 66 acres or less that will include the existing farm house and equestrian center, and existing farm buildings. Denruiter seconded, motion carried. Gauger motioned to grant the changes to the conditional uses: special equestrian events, shows and charity functions, public camping in connection with special events, horse riding, training, lessons, trail rides, on lots 1-22, 640 acres. Sawle paid the $500 fee for the conditional use and land division fee.

- James Berterang - purchased the Valley Motors car lot on Hwy 14. He needs a conditional use permit to have cars on the lots. He will need to get this formally approved by the Planning Commission. He paid the $250.00 conditional use permit fee.

- Chris Cervantes - Denruiter motioned to approve a building and driveway permit for Helena Road. Gauger seconded, motion passed.

- Jackie Owens - Gauger motioned to approve a conditional use permit to have one horse on the property. If there is a problem with the manure we can review or revoke the permit. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- The County may be requiring permits for any Town road work being done in the future.
