ARENA PLAN COMMISSION - unofficial minutes

August 4, 2008

The meeting was called to order. Roll call was taken. Plan Commission members present are John Wright, Wayne Schutte, Cheryl Schmidt, Mark Hottmann, Rod Anding. Others present are KayDee Maxwell, Dave Lucey, Terry Denruiter, John Hackett, Garry Ringelstetter

Schutte motioned to change the July 7 minutes. Garry Ringelstetters acreage should be changed from 40 acres to 27 acres. Schmidt seconded, motion passed. Schutte motioned to approve the minutes from July 7, 2008 meeting. Schmidt seconded, motion passed.

John & Robyn Hackett - combine lot 1 and lot 2 for a total of 5.01 acres at 7488 Village Edge Road. They would like to rezone the land to AR1 so they can have horses on the property. There are no more building sites after the two parcels are combined. Schmidt motioned to combine the two lots and rezone them to AR1. Hottmann seconded, motion passed. The $250.00 fee was paid.

Garry Ringelstetter - 5 acres on Helena Road that is zoned commercial. He bought the 5 acre lot in 1994 and signed off on the building rights. He now would like to build a house on the property. The Planning Commission doesn't think they can justify this considering he signed off on the building rights.

Hottman motioned to adjourn. Anding seconded, motion passed.
