ARENA PLAN COMMISSION

January 5, 2009

The meeting was called to order.

Schutte motioned to approve the minutes from December 1, 2008 meeting. Anding seconded, motion passed.

John Halverson - lot layout for the dedication of the new Town Road. The road goes back about 300 ft. to match the existing easement. There is a 60 ft. radius cul-de-sac. The Town has to sign a certified survey map to get the road approved at the State level. We need to come up with a name for the road. Schutte motioned to approve the CSM as presented pending the intersection meets DOT requirements. Murphy seconded, motion passed.

Chris Cervantes house on Helena Rd. does meet the 1000 sq. ft. requirement.

Do we want to get more involved with inspecting and charging fees for sheds and outbuildings? Dave Lucey has talked to all of the Town Chairmen's in Iowa County and none of them have fees. Gauger states, "How do you police it." Every little shed would have to have a permit. Schutte, doesn't see where the policies are broke, so why fix anything. Everyone agreed to leave the rules as is. Permits are only needed from the County for sheds.

Hottmann motioned to adjourn. Schmidt seconded, motion passed.
