Town of Arena – unofficial minutes

January 12, 2009

PRESENT: Bill Gauger, Dave Lucey, Terry Denruiter, KayDee Maxwell, Minnie Gauger, John Halverson, Dick Lockman, Mary Lockman, Bob Murphy, Dave Meudt, Louis Carpenter

- The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. Roll call was taken, all board members are present. Gauger moved to approve the minutes of the December 8, 2008 meeting. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- No public comment

- The new town building inspector is Smrcina Inspections LLC from Mt. Sterling

- John Halverson - decided to name the new Town Road Baxter Lane. John brought copies of the survey for the new road. Dave Lucey motioned to approve the dedication of Baxter Lane off of Hwy 14, also the approval of certified survey map, contingent on the approval of the WisDOT application/permit to work on highway right-of-way. If the DOT moves the road then another application for the Hwy Right-of-Way has to be approved by the Town Board. The road project has to be completed within a two year period. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- Denruiter motioned to approve the relocation order for project number 5688-04, River Road Bridge & Approaches. Gauger seconded, motion passed.

- Gauger motioned to approve the bills. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- Denruiter motioned to adjourn. Gauger seconded, motion passed.

Town of Arena - Special Meeting - Board of Audit

January 12, 2009

PRESENT: Bill Gauger, Dave Lucey, Terry Denruiter, KayDee Maxwell, Minnie Gauger

- The meeting was called to order at 8:55 pm. Roll call was taken, all board members are present.

- Lucey motioned to approve the total inflows and outflows for 2008. Denruiter seconded, motion passed. Gauger abstained from voting because of conflict of interest.

- Gauger motioned to adjourn. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
