Town of Arena – unofficial minutes

February 4, 2009

PRESENT: Bill Gauger, Dave Lucey, Terry Denruiter, KayDee Maxwell, Minnie Gauger, Dick Lockman, Mary Lockman,

- The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm. Roll call was taken, all board members are present. Denruiter moved to approve the minutes of the January 12, 2009 meeting. Gauger seconded, motion passed.

- Public Comment:

• Tracy Halverson was wondering what percentage of the Personal Property taxes from Bit-O-Green go to the schools. Minnie said she would get back to her.
• Dave Lucey mentioned that there is a 150 year celebration at Dodgeville Courthouse. They are putting a time capsule together.

- Denruiter motioned to approve a building and driveway permit for Jeff Hooks in Mickelson Subdivision, lot 3, 2.77 acres. The house will be 1386 sq. feet on main floor with an unfinished basement. Gauger seconded, motion passed.

- Discussion about a town wide garbage pick-up. What happens when Louis doesn't want to do the garbage anymore. Would it make the Township cleaner? Everyone would have to be on the pick-up. The cost would go on the tax bills.

- Gauger's will start digging their second pond on Monday, February 4, 2009

- Gauger motioned to approve the bills presented. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- Gauger motioned to adjourn. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
