- The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm.  Roll call was taken, all board members are present. Denruiter moved to approve the minutes of the April 13, 2009 meeting. Gauger seconded, motion passed.

- Bob Murphy - Plans for Hwy 14 were to haul the asphalt to the buffalo ranch and crush it there. If true the Town should see about getting some.

DNR is talking about blacktopping both sides of the bridge and wants to know if the Town would pay some for this. Lucey said absolutely not.

Lucey said all of the transportation funds will be scaled back this year except for the cities.

- Bobby & Joyce Hinds - conditional use permit for bed & breakfast on the Sawle farm. It must be run by family. They can only have one non-family member employee as stated in Wisconsin rules for the cottage industry. One family member must live on the premises.  Denruiter motioned to approve the conditional use permit for 8637 Linley Road. Gauger seconded, motion passed. The $250.00 fee was paid.

- Rod Anding wants to continue on the Plan Commission committee. Dave Lucey asked Ingmar Nelson if he brought any information about being on the Plan Commission. Gauger motioned to reappoint Rod Anding to the Plan Commission committee. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- Gauger motioned to pay Tim Meudt $50.00 for helping at the Clean Sweep Day. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- Patrolmen discussion - looking at 6.1 miles of road for single seal coating. 2/10 mile for double seal coating.  Scott's bid $12,475.00 for single seal over hard surface. The Town believes the County does better work, but they are more money. The Town will talk with Scott's about their work. The County's bid is $13,300.

The list for roadwork this year:

Hayward 1 mile

Frontier 7/10

Pinnacle 3/10

Blynn 7/10

Moral 6/10

Amacher 1 mile

The Town is scratching Reimann Road 2/10 of a mile and Blynn Road

The patrolmen plan on mowing the roadsides 3 times this year.

The road that runs past Dave Giffey's needs a name. Dave Lucey asked the Dave Moore, the owner, to come up with a name.

Dave Lucey asked the Town Boards opinion about a disagreement with two landowners about a fence boundary. The board said it is not the Town's duty to set the boundary. They need to get a certified survey map.

We took in $750 in appliances during the clean sweep day. Some salvage yards accept these items for free. The Village is not having clean sweep next year. Should the Township take the Village Residents stuff for a fee so it doesn't get dumped in the Township? The board doesn't think we would loose any money charging the Village per load. There will be a further discussion on this matter.

Gauger motioned to approve the bills presented through 5/11/09. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

Dave Lucey is concerned that the Village of Arena's sign is on our property and we are maintaining the property. Dick Lockman suggested asking them to plow the cemetery for us letting them have the sign on our property.

Discussion about direct deposit for the Town employees and board members. The Town is in favor of this.

Gauger motioned to adjourn. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
