Town of
August 4, 2009
PRESENT: Bill Gauger,
- The meeting was called to
order at 7:00 pm. Roll call was taken, Terry
Denruiter was not present. Gauger moved to approve the minutes of the July 13,
2009 meeting. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
- Rand Schott - driveway
permit. Lucey stated he needs an updated version of the driveway maintenance
agreement. The wind generator is on hold because Rand Schott needs a driveway
permit first before a building permit is granted for the wind generator. Gauger
made a motion to grant a driveway permit. Lucey seconded, motion passed.
- Vern Halverson - requested
a permit for a holding tank on Francis Portwine property. If the tank is not
pumped and maintained the Township is responsible to take care of the cost and
then the amount will be put on the tax bill as a special tax. The township will
then add on an administration fee of $200. Vern will have the document written
up and notorized and signed by the Township official. Gauger made a motion to
grant the permit. Lucey seconded, motion carried.
- A check for $250 is to be
sent back to Vern & Eve Halverson for a refund of a conditional use permit.
- Randy Pittman - conditional
use permit and rezone for cheese factory. Lucey motioned to rezone 8' +- parcel
on south side of Whites existing parcels to AR1, and a condtianl use for
combining two AR1 lots. Rezone 1.1 acres +- parcel from AG to AB, conditional
use for cheese factory and retail sale of cheese. Motion also Town not
objectgion to 75' setback from ? of CTH H and vision triangle . Town may make
motion also to have septic agreement signed, also variance for minimum side
yard of 20' for Pitman's parcel.
- Received a check from Bill
Gauger for $25 and Donald NeViaser for $25 for fireworks permits.
- Patrolmen Discussion -
Lucey commented to the group that he's gotten good reviews on their road work.
FS would like a chance to bid our fuel. Richard wants to do 5.3 miles intead of
5.0 miles of road work on Pinnacle Road. Will not be doing any work on Hayward.
Will be doing 1.6 miles of Amacher Road.
- Brent Duhr - has a problem
with Village of Oregon. Is zoned A1 - he will change zoning after house is
moved in to AR1
- There was no discussion on
Helena Platting because it was discussed in lentgth at the Planning Commission
Meeting.
- Gauger motioned to approve
the bills as presented from 7/14/09 to 8/2/09. Lucey seconded, motion passed.
- Gauger motioned to
adjourn. Lucey seconded, motion passed.
