Town of
January 11, 2010
PRESENT: Bill Gauger,
- The meeting was called to
order at 7:00 pm. Roll call was taken,
all board members are present. Gauger moved to approve the minutes of the
December 14, 2009 meeting. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
- Ingmar Nelson letter -
Gary Heck has three building sites on his deed and Ingmar was concerned about
that how they got there and wonders about his building permits. The Town Board
needs to get a copy of the deeds and research the number of building sites.
Ingmar is against the building permit for Heck because it may take away
building sites from his property.
- Gauger motioned to approve
a building permit for Gary Heck. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
- Fees for special meetings
are currently $475. The Board would like to round that up to $500. Denruiter
motioned to change the fee from $475 to $500. Gauger seconded, motion passed. Gauger thinks that if more than one board
member has to meet with someone for something that it is considered a special
meeting and needs to be paid for upfront. Denruiter wants a written application
for any special meeting. If the meeting has to be posted the special meeting
fee will have to be paid.
- Gauger motioned to approve
the bills from 12/15/09 through 1/11/09. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
- Ingmar asked about
recording the meetings. It is okay as long as he tells the board. If someone objects,
the board may go into closed session.
- Patrolmen discussion -
Rear end doesn't seem to be working right in Dick's truck. Our salt supply
looks good. An inspector will be here looking at the salt shed March 1. American
Transmission Company is going to be clearing and burying lines.
- The working land
initiatives organizational meeting is January 20. They want to finalize it by
Dec. 2010.
- Gauger motioned to
adjourn. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
