Town of
July 19, 2010
PRESENT: Dave Lucey,
- The meeting was called to
order at 7:00 pm. Roll call was taken,
all members are present.
- Gauger motioned to approve
the minutes from the June 14, 2010, annual meeting. Denruiter seconded, motion
passed.
- Ingmar Nelson, driveway permit - his driveway was originally approved in
the late 70's or early 80's so he doesn't have to go to the board of
adjustment. Denruiter motioned to approve the single user residential driveway.
Gauger seconded, motion passed.
- Jim Corcoran, driveway permit - Lucey motioned to approve the driveway
permit for Jim Corcoran. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
- Seal coat bids from County
$13840. Scott's is $13,742. We have about $19,000 left to spend this year on
roads. Gauger motioned to go with Scott Construction for roadwork and do a
double seal on the roads. Denruiter seconded, motion passed. The patrolmen have
been out patching the roads.
- Vern & Eve Halverson,
driveway permit and building permit for lot 1. It already has an existing
driveway. Bill Gauger motioned to approve a building permit for lot 1 off of
Coon Rock Rd. Denruiter seconded, motion passed. $1000 fee was paid.
- Tom DeChant
- driveway permit. The planning and zoning members are going to look at the
land this week. Vern Halverson thought there was an old easement through the
land. Denruiter motioned to table this till we have more information. Gauger
seconded, motion passed.
- WI Towns Assocation - membership fees are $646 and Lucey doesn't
feel that this is really worth it. Gauger motioned to table this till next
month. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
- The new fire truck is
$300,000. Eric Drachenberg wants the fire board to pick
up $200,000.
- Operator's License for
Spring Valley Inn - Gauger motioned to approve the operator's license for
Michelle Hutchinson, Denise Layton, Annette Alt, Michael
Nolan. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
- Gauger motioned to approve
the bills. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
- Gauger motioned to
adjourn. Deruiter seconded motion passed.
