Town of Arena

August 9, 2010

PRESENT: Dave Lucey, Terry Denruiter, Bill Gauger, KayDee Maxwell, Ingmar Nelson, Mary Lockman, Dick Lockman, David Meudt,

- The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. Roll call was taken, all members are present.

- Gauger motioned to approve the minutes from the July 19, 2010, annual meeting. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- Randy Hartung - driveway permit. Gauger motioned to approve the driveway permit for Hartung contingent on it meeting town standards. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- WI Towns Association membership - do we join? Denruiter motioned to let the membership expire. Gauger seconded, motion passed. Lucey was in favor of letting it expire as well.

- The town will have a meeting with the village to discuss the new fire truck. Lucey looked into interest rates. We also need to discuss taxes with them.

- Board of Review is Aug. 23^rd at 6:00pm.

- Tom Dechant asked about a refund for his driveway permit because it has not passed yet. However the town board and planning commission has been out there numerous times. As of now the board feels it is not refundable.

- Town Patrolmen - we have 1 ½ loads of patch left. We paid $18/yd. Did anyone inspect the bridges yet? We have about $17,000 left in our budget for roadwork.

- Gauger motioned to approve the bills as presented. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

- Gauger motioned to adjourn. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
