ARENA PLAN COMMISSION

February 2, 2011

PRESENT: John Wright, Rod Anding, Wayne Schutte, Mark Hottmann, Terry Denruiter, Bill Gauger, KayDee Maxwell

OTHERS: Mary Lockman, Nick Heiser

- Schutte motioned to approve the minutes from the January 3, 2011 meeting. Anding seconded, motion passed.

- Nick Heiser - conditional use permit for a sand pit. Looking to open a sand pit. Out on Helena Road on Dominick Grint's land. Anding said it might be wet land just so Heiser knows. There are 83 acres zoned Ag now. 40 has to stay Ag the County said. He was thinking of rezoning 5 acres at a time. Looking at digging down 20 feet. Right now he would dig about 1 acre every 2 years. Truck traffic shouldn't be a concern. Will mostly haul during the week. The Plan Commission said that they would recommend going along with the plan as long as he follows what the County and DNR say.
