June 7, 2011

PRESENT: Bill Gauger, Dave Lucey, Terry Denruiter, KayDee Maxwell, Dick Lockman, Mary Lockman, Minnie Gauger, Nancy Kolatz, Tracy Halverson, David Meudt, Vern Halverson, Ingmar Nelson

The meeting was called to order by David Lucey at 7:00pm. Roll call was taken.

Gauger motioned to approve the minutes from May 9, 2011. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

Tim Horner's rezoning from last month - went to county, cannot have animal units on the property.

Nancy Kolatz - a fence should have been fixed last fall and was not by Jeff Francelli. A letter was originally written to him and he responded with a letter honoring her request. However, it has not been done. It should be done by July 31, 2011. David Lucey will inspect the fence on Aug. 1, 2011. Jeff gets another 30 days after that date if it is not completed. The town board will take over then to get it completed by September 30, 2011.

Tracy Halverson - David Lucey called Edward Giles, and requested he be at the meeting. He was notified by certified letter as well. The town board has bids for the fencing project. Edward was claiming that there are Indian artifacts and rattle snakes on the property. We will send him one more notice. If the town does the project and pays for it then we will put the bill on his taxes. Denruiter motioned to table the discussion till later. Gauger seconded, motion passed. motioned to let Tracy start the fencing project after the 17^thof June, the 30 days Edward had to rebuttal. seconded, motion passed.

Guy Spurley - building permit on Bennett Road. Gauger motioned to approve the building permit. They have six months to destroy the old house after occupancy of the new house. Denruiter seconded, motion passed. Paid $1000 fee.

Spring Valley Inn - class B beer and class B liquor

Tom Porter, Lake Louie Brewing - wholesale beer

Pappas Trading Post, Randy E. Smith - class B beer

Hecks Market, Gary Heck - class A beer & liquor

Operators License renewals for: Gary Heck, Randy Smith, Krystal Askevold, Edwin R. Olson, Terry Askevold, Kenneth Nachreiner, Joseph Jensen,

Gauger motioned to accept the above liquor & beer licenses and operator's licenses. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

A Better Buzz, Robert Brumley - class B beer, class B liquor - He needs to mail a check for the license before we can make a decision on the license.

We had 107 people show up for clean sweep. Three 40yd. and one 30yd. dumpster. One 20yr. dumpster full of metal. We got $388. For the extra loads we got $710. Denruiter motioned to send a check to Tim Meudt for helping. Gauger seconded, motion passed.

Are the street signs still missing? Yes. Should we wait to cut the roadsides.

Public discussion - why do we want a driveway and building permit at the same time? So the driveway is not done one year and then the building permit is done another year, the rules might change before the building permit is issued for the driveway.

Gauger motioned to pay the bills as presented. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.

Tracy Halverson - Denruiter motioned to accept Tracy Halverson's bid for installing the fence on Edward Giles property. We need to wait till June 18^th to start the project. Send Edward Giles a certified letter with the bids and minutes. He can pay the bill now or it will be on his taxes. Gauger seconded, motion passed.

Coon Rock Culverts- what do we do? We will discuss it down the road.

Garbage last month sold $440.00.
