Plan
Commission attendance by only one Town Board member each week instead of all
three? Rod Anding brought this up. The board thinks
it is difficult to convey the information between the two parties if the board
is not present. Lucey has the idea of making a 5 person town board and no
planning and zoning committee. Denruiter, doesn't it have to go through two
boards? The board doesn't think that they should be required to attend the
Planning Commission meetings and not get paid.
Operators

Gauger says lower the number of people from 6 to 4 or leave it as it is for the Planning
Commission. They see the expense as minimal. Denruiter would like to discuss it
next month. He sees this as a minimal expense and cutting this is not worth the
savings. It is valuable to have the board members present to listen to the
discussion.
Gauger
motioned to adjourn. Denruiter seconded, motion passed.
